Important Update for Windows 7 Users
Windows 7 Support for Kabylake Processors
Intel has announced that only Skylake processors can support the Windows 7 operating system. This means that Kabylake processors are not officially supported by Windows 7.
ACPI Driver Hotfix for Windows 7 64-bit
However, there is a hotfix available from Microsoft that provides support for the ACPI Driver on Kabylake processors for Windows 7 64-bit. This hotfix is only compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.
